YWCANNJ’s core mission is to empower women and girls and eliminate racism, with a long history of providing girls with resources and support that will position them for success.
“Research shows that girls encounter significant obstacles that can impede their future” says YWCA CEO Helen Archontou. “From anxiety and depression, to bullying, and peer pressure girls often feel undervalued and question their self-worth. Our empowerment programs and workshops are designed to prepare girls for their academic and career success, as well as nurture and support their emotional wellbeing.”
