This position is focused on outreach for healingSPACE at YWCA NNJ—the only Sexual Violence Resource Center of its kind in the county. The outreach coordinator will raise community awareness about sexual violence. Learn More | Apply
healingSPACE Hotline Advocate Assistant
The hotline Advocate Assistant will support volunteer, education, prevention, and management efforts including: volunteer recruitment; volunteer retention, recognition and scheduling of hotline, accompaniment, and supervisor shifts; the planning, facilitation, and maintenance of initial and ongoing training; and the development and scheduling of community education, prevention, and outreach activities. The Clinician is responsible for providing crisis-intervention, counseling and advocacy to victims of sexual assault/abuse and their families. This involves psychosocial assessment, person-centered treatment planning, treatment sessions, progress evaluations, and termination services with clients. This position provides follow up to victims after a SART exam has been provided and serves as a collaborative member of the Sexual Assault Center Staff.
