The YWCA’s adapted aquatics specialists provide rehabilitation and recreation utilizing water’s buoyancy to reduce stress on weight-bearing joints and provide resistance to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve circulation.
For adults with orthopedic and/or neurological conditions and those wishing to continue supervised exercises following the conclusion of physical therapy. Includes cardiovascular, strengthening and flexibility exercises to increase range of motion.
